Richard Louis Caragol, is a licensed architect (Arizona), and former University of Oregon Adjunct Professor of Architecture.  His expertise is primarily in energy conserving green custom residential,  remodels, infill commercial and additions. Richard was a principal partner and founder of Design Group Architects in Sedona for 15 years. He has designed in the San Francisco east bay since 1998. Mr Caragol has 34 years of experience in all phases of Design, Construction Documents, Interiors and Contract (construction) Administration. Richard assists clients in land acquisition through post occupancy. RLC design studio provides design services around the US via the net including video conferencing and presentations.

RLC Design Studio designed a custom residence in Eugene, Oregon integrating Passive Solar concepts and Green Building Materials. The residence is currently under construction and will be featured on the 2010 Tour of Homes (see bottom of this page). Richard is a member of the American Solar Energy Society , and Building Green.
